Israeli Raids Result in Injuring Seven Palestinians in West Bank

(MENAFN) Seven Palestinians were injured on Saturday in separate incidents involving Israeli forces and settlers across the southern West Bank, including areas in Hebron and Bethlehem, according to local reports.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its teams transferred a young man to hospital after he was shot with live ammunition in the abdomen and hand during an Israeli military raid on the town of Beit Ummar in the Hebron governorate.

It also reported that two other Palestinians were injured by gunfire during a separate raid on the town of Beit Fajjar in the Bethlehem area.

In a related incident, four Palestinians were injured after being assaulted by settlers in the Masafer Yatta area of Hebron, with reports of beatings and the use of pepper spray.

According to figures from the Palestinian Authority’s Commission against the Wall and Settlements, hundreds of settler attacks have been recorded in recent months across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, alongside ongoing tensions and repeated confrontations in the territory.
