Provided by AGPThe offer emerged as Sybiha kicked off an official visit to Brussels, Belgium, with a bilateral meeting with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen — the first stop in a packed diplomatic agenda in the Belgian capital.
The two ministers covered a broad range of pressing issues, including the Russia-Ukraine peace process, Europe's role in shaping its outcome, and the current state of the battlefield, Sybiha said in a post on X.
"We also spoke about Ukraine's EU accession — I underscored the need to open negotiation clusters as soon as possible," he said, adding that they also exchanged views on developments in Central Asia, the South Caucasus and the Middle East.
The visit carries significant multilateral weight. Sybiha is expected to attend a gathering of EU foreign ministers and hold a separate meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte. He will additionally participate in a ministerial session of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, conduct a series of bilateral talks with European counterparts, and sign several formal agreements before the visit concludes.
